Personality Development

The story still hasn't ended.

The tortoise and hare, by this time, had become pretty good friends and they did some thinking together. Both realised that the last race could have been run much better. So the tortoise and hare decided to do the last race again, but to run as a team this time.

They started off, and this time the hare carried the tortoise till the riverbank. There, the tortoise took over and swam across with the hare on his back. On the opposite bank, the hare again carried the tortoise and they reached the finishing line together. Both the tortoise and hare felt a greater sense of satisfaction than they'd felt earlier.

The moral of the story? It's good to be individually brilliant and to have strong core competencies; but unless you're able to work in a team and harness each other's core competencies, you'll always perform below par because there will always be situations at which you'll do poorly and someone else does well.

Teamwork is mainly about situational leadership, letting the person with the relevant core competency for a situation take leadership.

SOME THOUGHTS OF GREAT PERSONALITIES
Depression

Depression is not a disease but it is only a fallen wave in the ocean of consciousness, only to rise again with great force to lift us up and up, till we reach the shore safely.

Fearlessness

Fear is only a thunder cloud making an empty sound, the force of wind moves it round and round and frightens only those who are not sound.

Real Citizens

You are born as an individual, now grow into a person, for, an individual loves himself and a person loves his family.

Don’t remain only a person, but grow into a citizen, for, a citizen loves his country.

Don’t remain only a citizen but be an enlightened citizen, for, an enlightened citizen serves his country.

Don’t remain only an enlightened citizen but be a spiritual citizen, for, spirituality will expand your heart opening the doors to peace and freedom.

Praise!
Praise with motive is flattering, praise with comment is motivation, praise with gift is encouragement, praise without motive is appreciation, praise with sarcasm is hypocrisy, praise for oneself is boasting, praise beyond normal is exaggeration, praise for kith and kin is pampering and praise for God is devotion.

Self Improvement

The concept of self improvement is gaining more and more importance because it enables people to create a good impression about themselves apart from developing ‘feel good’ factor about one’s own existence. Self improvement is a process that takes place over a period of time. It is not something like a magical wand that one runs all over himself and wonderful things start taking place. Self improvement is more like a journey in which after reaching one milestone you start thinking of next and it goes on forever. I must say, it is also one of the most fulfilling journeys you will ever undertake.
The process of self improvement works on several layers right from mental and physical to spiritual level. It helps you in realizing your capabilities, fine tuning your skills and eventually making you a cheerful, happier and stronger person. Though there are many crash courses in self personality development custom designed for people of all age groups, yet things will only work when you put in required effort and determination. One has to make certain changes to his routine and start implementing recommended practices on a regular basis. So, the trick lies in looking deep within and asking yourself, what are the changes you require in order to have a well rounded personality.

At the root of personality development, lies the immense desire of self improvement. For personality development, one needs to improve upon aspects like interpersonal relationships, behavior, attitude towards life and communication skills among others. Procrastination should always be avoided when you decide to improve yourself. It’s always ‘here and now’ that will decide how intense your desire is. Developing the right way of thinking is of immense importance because a positive mindset will make all the difference in the end.

Personality development communication is another important factor along with determination that will power your inner being. Suppose, if you have discovered that you need to work on your relationship or communication skills then first you need to analyse what causes you to falter in these matters. Once you have read the cause and effect phenomenon in detail, you are prepared for next step and that is of planning. You can derive several methods on your own or you can consult Personality development coaching classes. Once you have finalised your course of action, stick to it with all your might.

Quite so often, it has been observed that just when one reaches the brink of success, he loses heart and gives up. When you feel like giving up, always visualise of what might have been achieved if only you had persevered for a bit longer. You must believe in your infinite abilities and let all the positive things happen to you.

Believe in Yourself

There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren’t the way you had hoped they would be. That’s when you have to tell yourself that things will get better. There are times when people disappoint you and let you down. But those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself. There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life, and it is up to you to accept them. Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are. So when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be. Because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you. Keep Believing in Yourself.

How To Overcome Fear With 5 Step Process

1.         Life is eventful and passes through various stages. During the life’s journey many a times unavoidable fears arise which need to be dealt with clarity of vision and confidence. Let us first understand what actually fear. Fear is said to be a misled perception. It means that when we understand something, the subject enters into our mind as a fear and immediately increases the heartbeat and creates self doubts which increase complications that multiply due to continuous negative thinking. At this moment the sub-conscious mind is hyperactive and brings forth all the unfounded and hidden fears. Here is the 5 step process to overcome such fears which would help us to stand strong against the difficulties in life.
2.         The first step is to acknowledge the fear. Do not suppress it rather believe its existence in you. Admit with honesty that you are afraid and scared about the issue. The evil requires to be recognized before it is dealt with.

3.         The second step is to quantify the fear and self doubt. The best way is to scale the issue from 1 to 10. Give a score to the issue so that there is always a hope for the coming out of the problem. This would also help us to assess the gravity of the situation and makes us to understand where our position is and where we actually stand as far as the issue is concerned.

4.         The third step is to expect the worst thing that could happen. This makes the issue totally visible. What may be the physical and emotional effects on us should also be anticipated. The holistic view helps to down size the issue and build up confidence.

5.         The fourth step is important because the main action plan is at this stage. It is to gather information and support to overcome the issue. Human being needs help from others some or the other time. So never hesitate to ask for required help at least for the critical issues.

6.         The last step is to celebrate. It may come to our mind that why the celebration has been put as a step. Celebration is also a process which builds up our confidence. A walk through the fear needs to be celebrated. Feel that we could sustain all the pain and come out successful. Storage of the confidence gained is equally critical to face any further similar trouble shoots. Thus the five steps process leads us successfully through the fear and builds up self confidence in us to face any difficulties in life.
